In preparation for the busy season we are in need of additional: 1 Cook - A happy person. With good disposition in life. Responsibilities: Food Preparation. Assist the Management in Planning Menus. Ensure daily knowledge to the food to be served together with appropriate garnish and portion. Preparing cooking Ingredients, prepare dressings on salads and sauces. Cleaning, Cutting, Chopping and Peeling food ingredients. Keep the kitchen area clean and hygienic. Keep cooking equipments clean. Follow Kitchen Safety Regulation. Maintain competent Hygiene Standard. Comply with Health and Safety Regulations. Report Hazard to the Management. Maintain Inventory, Buying, Ordering, Weighing Ingredients and Food Supplies. Organizing the storeroom as necessary. Work successfully as part of the team and responsible for developing then maintaining strong working relationships with co-workers. Attend staff meetings and trainings when required. Use kitchen equipment safely, operate mechanical and electrical equipment. Perform special assignment, projects and other duties as required. Follow assigned work schedule. Do purchase of Ingredients in the nearest Supermarket and Wet Market. Requirements and skills * Proven experience as cook and kitchen operations. * Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware * Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) * Ability to follow all sanitation procedures * Ability to work in a team * Good communication skills * Excellent physical condition and stamina * Willing to work under pressure * High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage Other Attributes Computer literate is a plus Willing to do continuous learning Must know new culinary trends Able to work under pressure Aside from the salary, We offer other benefits like: •SSS •Philhealth •Pag-Ibig •13th month pay •Free lodging •Other incentives to be discussed during the interview.
