The ideal time to start planning your holiday largely depends on the nature of your trip. For Scuba Diving, it is advisable to begin planning at least six months in advance. For peak travel seasons December to May, consider starting even earlier, up to a year in advance, to ensure availability. If you are just going for a long holiday weekend in Amila you can probably get away with planning just 3 months in advance. Mark your calendars for long weekends. We have a total of only 8 Rooms in our property and we follow maximum occupancy in our guest rooms. Our dates are filling up fast especially in the holiday seasons - Christmas, New Year, Holy Week. Set a Budget Consider costs for transportation, food and activities.
