Dive Sites Danjugan Island
The Clams
“The Clams” is a well-protected dive site boasting the best coral garden in the area. You’ll be amazed by the sight of huge fan corals, giant clams surrounded by anemone fish, clown fishes, and triggers. The depth ranges from 5 to 30 meters, making it a perfect spot for divers of all levels.
Wilson Reef
This reef is long and shallow. Most of it is colonized by soft corals. Requires good conditions to dive. The depth is 5 to 15 m.
Tanguigue Reef
The reef starts at 17 m. All around the reef you will see large groups of soft and hard corals. Something you don’t want to miss in this spot are the big fan corals stretching out alongside the reef. Yellow snappers, blue trolleys, napoleons, turtles and potato groupers can accompany your visit here. 17 to +40 m. Advanced and above level divers.
Bonifacio Reef
Another beautiful reef you wouldn’t like to miss. Located on the most Southern point of Danjugan. The depth is ranging from 10-40 mt. Here you can experience napoleons, moray eels, turtles and trolleys. Good for all level of divers.
Twin Peaks
North Wall
Sportive and remarkable dive site but often exposed to currents and waves. With good conditions it’s a must to dive. 5 to 35 m depth. It has a small cavern filled with manta shrimps.
THE PORT • Mad Max
It's possible to spot frogfish, lionfish, moray eels, sea snakes, trolleys, nudibranchs, and dragonfish here. The depth ranges from 5 to 24 meters, making it suitable for divers of all levels.
Macro photographers will find this site to be a little slice of heaven.
Dive Sites Turtle Island
Head & Nose
These two dive sites are on the same huge reef. It is not possible to explore it all in only one dive and the reason they have been named as two different sites. The dive site are a colourful and healthy reef located on the north west corner of the island. It is surrounded by damsel fish, anthias and groups of bannerfish. Either at the beginning or the end of the dives, the reef is decorated with huge gorgonians. The depth of the sites is 5 to 30 m. Good for experienced divers.
Sunny Sunday
Perfect starting point for the beginners or for the divers who have been away from diving for a long time. It is a shallow reef very near to Turtle Island’s southern beach. Typical tropical fish groups, puffer fishes, groupers can be seen. 5-10 m depth.
El Punto
In the south west corner we find El Punto. It is a long reef with a steep slope falling from 8 to 40 m. Turtles, large groups of tropical fish, octopus and stone fish can be spotted. In the end of the dive we often encounter some drift all along the reef. This site is included in the marine reserve. Good for all divers. Easy.
Diente De Lobo
In the south west corner we find El Punto. It is a long reef with a steep slope falling from 8 to 40 m. Turtles, large groups of tropical fish, octopus and stone fish can be spotted. In the end of the dive we often encounter some drift all along the reef. This site is included in the marine reserve. Good for all divers. Easy.
Julien's Wreck
Nudiland
Also, in the marine reserve, we find this spectacular dive site. Coral slopes between sandy and rocky valleys, where a lot of different nudibranchs can be found. Napoleon fish, eagle ray, groups of trevallies, fusiliers and moray eels. The depth reaches down to 30 m.
